Morninghill Security Association

This is the Morninghill Area.

The Morninghill Security Association (MSA) was formed in 1998 to improve overall security and well-being in our Community.

 

The MSA committee is managed by a group of volunteer residents who are elected at an Annual General Meeting.

THE TRUE BENEFIT IS ONLY ACHIEVED WHEN MEMBERSHIP TO BOTH THE MSA & BHT IS COMBINED:

 

Security is an onerous and difficult task. By combining the Boomed Access services of BHT (organised by MSA) with the Armed Response services of BHT, we are absolutely improving the overall security of Morninghill.

 

WITHOUT MSA THIS WILL HAPPEN:

• Immediate and significant reduction in the value of your property

• NO Boomed-off entrance with 24 hour guards

• NO Permanent video surveillance of all road entry / exit points

• NO Video Surveillance of Mountain Area (Fouchee Terrace)

• NO Licence Plate Resognition Cameras to warn us of suspect cars

• NO Automated entry into Morninghill for MSA Members

• NO dedicated BHT patrol vehicle for rapid response

• Park benches organised by the MSA would disappear

• Perimeter palisade fence will degrade and also eventually disappear

• NO Community initiatives such as Vodacom’s Fibre Optics installation will ever happen again

• NO MSA Facebook page

• NO MSA e-mail newsletter

• NO more speed bumps – that too was MSA arranged

• NO Resurfacing of many of the roads – organised by the MSA

• RETURN OF the 50+ taxis per day which once traversed our suburb

• RETURN OF the bus loads of visitors to our park area
